The Porcelain Clay.

Our Translucent Porcelain clay is based on an early recipe by David Leach which we have tweaked. An expensive body to produce because of its ingredients, it is quite different to throw with than our Stoneware and has a fine sculptural feel. Created for more individual pieces, I enjoy seeing the light passing through the different thicknesses of the cut, folded and fluted shapes. (We call it Cutting Edge Ceramics).
