All of our stoneware pottery is oven, microwave, freezer and frost resistant but like most pottery ours does not like shocks, for example it is unwise to take a pie dish straight out of the fridge or freezer and put it in a hot oven or the microwave, room temperature is much more advisable. Equally our pots should not be used for defrosting in the microwave as the centre of the piece where it is in contact with frozen food becomes very cold then warm very quickly. All of our stone ware pots are also dish washer friendly. (Though I have had one report that a porcelain piece did go a wee bit crazy after being in a dish washer so please bear that in mind with this more delicate and exclusive collection.)
